This week at the Detroit Auto Show, GMC lifted the veil on the all-new Acadia 2024, marking the beginning of a new era for the brand’s three-row SUV lineup. A ROOMIER THREE-ROW SUV

The 2024 GMC Acadia presents itself as a more spacious choice, with enlarged dimensions compared to its predecessor. Not only is it 10.6 inches longer and 3.2 inches taller, but it also offers a seating configuration for seven or eight people, depending on the version chosen. This gain in size also means more storage space, offering almost 80% more cargo volume behind the third row and over 36% behind the second row.

AN ALL-NEW ENGINE FOR THE GMC ACADIA 2024

The Acadia 2024 follows in the footsteps of the new Traverse 2024, with a brand-new turbocharged engine. All versions benefit from this 2.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine, which generates increased power and superior towing capacity. With 328 hp and 326 lb-ft of torque, it is mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission. This combination enables the Acadia to maintain a robust towing capacity of up to 5,000 lbs. That said, the abundant low-end torque, much higher than that offered by the previous Acadia, will enable more dynamic acceleration and even more confident overtaking. The driving experience will be completely different in the new Acadia.

A HOST OF NEW TECHNOLOGIES

The GMC Acadia 2024 shines not only with its bold, sophisticated exterior design, but also with its interior featuring state-of-the-art technology and premium finishes. At the heart of the cabin is a premium GMC infotainment system with a 15-inch portrait screen, available on all versions. This system allows customization of on-screen displays and offers integrated compatibility with Google, offering various applications including navigation.

Complementing this system is an 11-inch driver information center, adding to the vehicle’s technological richness. The Acadia 2024 also provides you with up to nine camera views to enhance visibility, as well as an extensive list of driver assistance technologies and advanced safety features, including forward collision warning, enhanced automatic emergency braking and adaptive cruise control.

To top it all off, the Acadia 2024 incorporates Super Cruise driver assistance technology, available on several versions, offering features such as towing assistance and automatic lane changing. Super Cruise is one of the few systems that lets you take your hands completely off the wheel and let the vehicle navigate the road on its own. It’s a truly impressive system seen on many top-of-the-range GMC models, and buyers of the new Acadia will now be able to take advantage of it.

ACADIA AT4 AND DENALI RETURN

The new Acadia will continue to be available in several versions, including the popular AT4 and Denali.

The Acadia AT4 2024 returns with greater off-road capability, offering advanced driving technologies combined with distinctive design and exclusive interior features. Exclusive features include a 1-inch raised ride height and 18-inch tires for enhanced off-road stability and handling, as well as an all-wheel drive system with dual-clutch rear differentials for optimum traction in demanding situations.

ACADIA DENALI – REFINED LUXURY

The Denali model returns to redefine the mid-size luxury SUV segment, offering styling enhancements and a bolder range of luxurious features. You’ll be greeted by an elegant interior featuring a panoramic sunroof, heated and ventilated front seats and a premium Bose sound system. On the outside, the Denali boasts distinctive design elements, including 22-inch aluminum wheels, the largest ever installed on an Acadia.
