Seasonal Tire Changeover
Customer having their wheels changed for season will receive the following:
20 point inspection for any safety or maintenance needed for coming change of season
Wheels will be washed and marked on back side wall or tread for location
Wheel nuts will be inspected for wear, corrosion and style is correct for seasonal rims (aluminum to steel)
Wheels will be dried to remove excess water before being bagged for customer or placed into inventory storage.
Mounting surfaces will be cleaned and lubricated before assembly
Wheel nuts will be torqued to spec by hand after road test
All wheels with TPMS (Tire Pressure Monitor Sensors) will be relearned or an estimate made if system is faulty.
Tire Rotation
Possible symptoms:
Uneven wear between tire
Shortened tire life.
Excessive tire noise.
Tire vibration.
Why rotate your tires?
Identifies early, any issues in respect to abnormal wear patterns. For
example: wear caused by improper alignment, balance, and pressure or suspension damage.
Ensures even tire wear among all 4 tires and maximizes tire life.
Maintains steering integrity when driving on poor road conditions.
Improves fuel economy.
Validates General Motors of Canada’s tire warranty (if applicable).
What’s included:
Inspect wheel fasteners for corrosion, wear and fit
Remove, inspect and report on condition of tires.
Inspect rims and tire valves for damage or leaks.
Measure and report remaining tire tread depth.
Inspect condition of space-saver spare tire (if equipped).
Check and adjust tire pressures.
Rotate tires as required by service manual
Relearn tire location for TPMS (Tire Pressure Monitor Sensors) system

Tire Balancing and Mounting Service
We have many different types of wheel balancing options for customers;
4 wheel balance inspection
4 wheel balance with road force – reports on out of round tires
4 wheel balance with straight track – provides tire location for least amount of pull
4 wheel match mount with road force – improves tire and rim runout
We can also install special wheel weights on most rims styles so the weights are not visible.
All balancing will receive the following:
Inspection for: wear, damage, condition, pressures and leaks
Wheel assemblies will be washed and all mounting surfaces cleaned and lubricated
All wheels will be clearly marked with their location on the back sidewall
All wheel damage will be clearly marked and documented for service advisor and customer
All faults found from inspection will have an estimate, with print out or visual example from technician or Service Advisor
Mounting; for seasonal, new tires or for balancing purposes:
The rim will be mounted so that the clamps leave next to no marks
Bead surface will be cleaned and sealed before mounting
The valve stem and/or TPMS (Tire Pressure Monitor Sensors) will be inspected or replaced
Wheels will be inspected for leaks before they are installed on vehicle
AC Service Details
A/C Performance Test (HVAC – heating, venting, air conditioning)
Customer has stated that their A/C system is not performing as well as it has in the past or would just like to have system tested.
The HVAC system will be inspected for the following:
Leaks- coolant, water, refrigerant, dye
Filters for HVAC system inspected for replacement
Stored DTC’s (Diagnostic Trouble Codes)
Compressor operation and belt condition
Noises from blower fan, compressor, and or HVAC door motors, belts
Temp test from inside center duct, outside temp at time of tests, Compressor housing during operation. Temperature reads from inlet and outlet of condenser and evaporator.
Estimate will be completed fully for all needed repairs and reviewed with Service Advisor and customer.
